Volunteer

We need YOU to VOLUNTEER!

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community. YWCA Metro St. Louis has an array of opportunities for you to become involved as much or as little as your schedule allows – recurring opportunities, special events, program support and more. We would love your help supporting the women and families we serve.

Head Start & Early Head Start

Head Start volunteers are needed for a wide range of projects ranging from serving as workshop leaders to organizing teddy bears in the YWCA Warehouse. Check out ways to support children and families and volunteer with Head Start!

Economic Empowerment

Are you passionate about economic empowerment? Do you have prior experience providing job readiness resources to help women experiencing economic adversity? Put your skills to use and volunteer with YWCA’s Economic Empowerment program.

Women’s Services

Are you dedicated to providing support, information and resources to victims of sexual assault? Do you have the knowledge and experience to lead risk-reduction & awareness training? Volunteer with the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART).

Racial Justice

Do you have a passion for helping our community understand, challenge and eliminate racism? Are you comfortable engaging in open dialogue about race relations in a group setting?
