Economic Empowerment/CREED
The purpose of YWCA’s Economic Empowerment efforts is to help women who are struggling financially attain a job and economic stability within a 3-5 year period.
CREED (formerly known as WESP) takes a holistic approach to help women pursue non-traditional careers, careers in high-growth industries, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
YWCA also offers the award-winning Successful Pathways®, a Department of Labor registered apprenticeship, that provides an accelerated opportunity to obtain a CDA® (Child Development Associate) credential for aspiring childcare professionals.
